HeroTasker is a directory and a marketplace. We connect customers with tradespeople. The money on the job stays between the two of you — cash, bank transfer, whatever you agree. We never touch it and we never take a cut.
The platform costs us money to run — servers, email, SMS, a small team. We are covering that out of pocket for now because we would rather get the product right than work out the billing first.
What about later?
At some point we will probably charge for something. When that day comes, we will be straightforward about it — what is paid, what stays free, what changes for existing users. You will hear from us in advance, not after the fact. The core flow — post a task, get offers, pick a tradesperson, talk direct — is going to stay free.
